WFUMB provides ultrasound equipment to needy centers in cooperation with Global Ultrasound Equipment Donation Foundation (GUEDF). Equipment is necessary in order to provide the hands-on training experiences that are so important for ultrasound education. The GUEDF has received and ultimately donated to needy centers more than 350 ultrasound systems from several ultrasound equipment manufacturers. WFUMB has most recently provided funding for machines to go to selected educational centers in Tanzania, Moldova, and Nigeria.
